Site policy
Terms of Use
Effective July 14, 2026
These Terms govern access to theinjurybrief.com (the “Site”), operated as The Injury Brief. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
General information only
The Injury Brief publishes general information about consumer injuries, products, exposures, legal claims, and related subjects.
The Injury Brief is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Site content is not medical advice and is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer or care from a qualified healthcare professional.
Laws, filing deadlines, medical knowledge, investigations, and litigation can change. Content may not be complete, current, or applicable to your circumstances. Do not delay seeking legal or medical help because of something you read here. Call 911 or the appropriate emergency service in an emergency.
No attorney-client relationship
Viewing the Site or emailing The Injury Brief does not create an attorney-client relationship. Communications with us are not communications with a lawyer and may not be confidential or legally privileged. A relationship with an independent lawyer exists only if that lawyer agrees to represent you, usually through a written engagement agreement.
No case evaluation or guaranteed outcome
The Injury Brief does not decide whether you have a valid claim, determine the value of a claim, or guarantee that a lawyer will review or accept a matter. Mentioning a product, company, medication, device, exposure, investigation, or lawsuit does not establish causation, liability, or eligibility. No result, recovery, settlement, or timeframe is guaranteed.
Current Site status
The current Site does not accept online case submissions or operate consumer call routing. If connection services are introduced, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Advertising Disclosure will be updated before activation.
Advertising and independent third parties
The Site may contain advertising or links to independent third parties. We do not control independent websites, law firms, providers, or advertising partners and are not responsible for their availability, advice, services, privacy practices, or conduct. A link or future connection is not a guarantee, endorsement, or determination that a provider is appropriate for you.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Disrupt, damage, probe, or attempt unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
- Use automated tools to copy substantial portions of the Site without written permission.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Submit malicious code or use the Site to violate another's rights.
- Exploit Site content commercially without permission.
Intellectual property
The Site's design, branding, text, graphics, and other original content are owned by or licensed to The Injury Brief and protected by applicable law. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial use. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply endorsement.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Site will always be available, error-free, secure, or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Injury Brief and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or reliance on, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Questions may be sent to hello@theinjurybrief.com.
